Reserve Study Space

Reserve Study Space

For the duration of the Spring Semester, the Office of African-American Affairs has implemented physical distancing guidelines to better assist your engagement and utilization of OAAA’s spaces in the midst of the pandemic. While we cannot go back to the way things were, one constant remains; the OAAA Deans and staff are committed to helping you navigate this school year and to reach your personal and academic goals.

To this aim, we have necessarily had to change the flow of traffic through our buildings. These changes, like in most spaces across the University, has resulted in a reduction of capacity and hours of availability.

To maintain social distancing and safety guidelines while still supporting you, OAAA will only be able to host a very limited number of persons by appointment only. Students will be able to reserve study space for 60 minutes each day. Upon submission of your RSVP, you will receive a response from a staff member. The RSVP system is a first-come, first-served system. For questions, you may call our main number (434-924-7923), or you can send an email to Ms. Carter, ([email protected]), Mr. Smith ([email protected] ) or Ms. Comfort ([email protected] )

Reserve space now.  Reservations are available between 9 am and 4 pm.
