We’re already looking ahead to Black History Month 2026 and can’t wait to celebrate with you again. Stay connected for more opportunities to engage, learn, and uplift throughout the year!
The Office of African-American Affairs upheld its proud and storied tradition of celebrating Black History Month with a series of engaging and thought-provoking programs, events, and discussions held from February 1 to February 28 at the University of Virginia.
The theme for this year's celebration was "Celebrating Resilience." The events offered a variety of perspectives, highlighting the rich history, culture, and contributions of the Black community and its remarkable resilience.
