OAAA’s Black History Month theme is Resilience, and Black Friday will spotlight four powerful ways we embody it: Music, Love, Movement, and Mindfulness.
This week, on February 21st, we’re celebrating Resilience through Movement. Dance has long been a vital expression of Black culture, storytelling, and resistance. From traditional African rhythms to hip-hop and beyond, movement connects us to our roots, empowers our bodies, and strengthens our communities. Dance is resilience. Dance is freedom. Dance is power.
Join us this Friday as we celebrate the power of Black movement and dance with music, games, activities, prizes, and more! Don’t miss this week’s Black History Month Black Friday—bring a friend and be part of the celebration!
