The Peer Advisor Program connects incoming first-year and entering transfer students with trained upper-class Peer Advisors who offer practical guidance, encouragement, and a familiar face as you begin your UVA journey. Whether you are looking for help navigating campus, building community, finding resources, getting involved, or simply having someone in your corner, this program is for you.

Who can participate? The Peer Advisor Program is open to all incoming first-year and transfer UVA students. We welcome students from every background, school, identity, and lived experience.

Important next step:  You will receive an email at your UVA email address with instructions to join the Peer Advisor app. This is required to be apart of this program. The app will help you connect with your Peer Advisor, receive program updates, and engage with opportunities throughout the year.
