Black Presidents Council

The purpose of the Black Presidents Council is to provide an opportunity for executive board members of active and registered CIOs to gather as a group to discuss historical themes and current events that have defined what it means to be a Black student a the University of Virginia. As a group of “elders”, the council will help shape the experience of Black students by strategically supporting the whole of the Black community through advising, advocacy, and celebration.
